Comic Book Cover Roughs

When I was Managing Editor, Editor and Art Director for Disney Comics I created cover ideas and rough cover sketches for all the titles I edited. Here are a few samples of some I did for Uncle Scrooge Comics. PLEASE NOTE: I only did the rough sketches for the covers. The final art was created by other staff artists, as noted.

Sketches Part 1

We all do sketches on napkins, scraps of paper, backs of envelopes, what ever's handy. I started cutting them out and gluing them into the back pages of sketchbooks years ago. These are a few that I've done recently, and I have a lot more. Click on the image to make it bigger.
